The AccuSTOR AS316X2HA is a 3U 16-bay SAS storage system providing up to 700MB/s with RAID 6 protection. The package includes a PCIe 8x controller with a dedelicated RAID engine to offload complex RAID calculations from server or workstation. To increase the return of investment, the AS316X2HA supports SAS and SATA drives and allows the expansion of up to 4 units. Built-in support for online-expansion and online-RAID migration allow capacity expansion without downtime. Enclosure and RAID management could be monitored via the built-in WEB interface for remote monitoring, without addition software install to the host computer to eliminate compatibility issues. E-mail notification and SNMP trap features are available for further monistoring of RAID and enclosure status. The rackmounts is also design with modularized controller and hot-swappable power supply, to provide fail-safe high performance data storage.

  • Multi-purposes - Supports both SAS (Serial SCSI) or SATA hard drives to meet the requirements of different applications with different price/performance characteristics. Cost-effective SATA drives could be used for capacity orientated storage such as disk-to-disk backup, data-archiving, and digital video editing. Enterprise level SAS drives could be employed for I/O intensive applications such as transactional databases.
  • System Event Notification - E-Mail Notification and SNMP Trap supported for both RAID and enclosure status, including RAID drives, SMART, failure and rebuild information, power supply and cooling fan enclosure status.
  • Cable-less & Modular Design - Cable-less backplane and controller module guarantees maximum data signal integrity, eliminating potential troubles by cable-wiring, for easy to service and maintenance.
  • Staggering Spin-Up - Built-in staggering spin-up for hard drives during power up, extending the life / duty cycle of the hard drives and power supply.
  • LCD Display & Enclosure ID - Built-in LCD displays critical enclosure information. The LCD displays the ID of the enclosure, where each enclosure could be easily identified in a multiple-enclosure environment.
  • Enclosure Craftsmanship - Compact 3U x 16-bay with very short depth (18.12”), Built with durable metal material. Excellent cooling with minimal noise.
