The EliteRAID ER104CT is a hardware RAID embedded enclosure provides high performance storage for creative professional with ~200MB/s. The embedded Hardware RAID design provides offload of complex RAID calculation from the computer to the unit, allowing high perfomance through out to eSATA and Firewire 800. Popular USB 2.0 and Firewire 400 provide easy connection to various computer operating systems. Since RAID engine is embedded inside the enclosure, there is no OS compatibility issues. With support of RAID 0, 1, 10, 3 and 5, ER104CT provides redundancy as well as data protection against hard drive failure. Front LED and drive LED provide status of the RAID unit. Four hot-swappable hard drives tray allows easy trouble shooting and hard drive replacement.
