EliteRAID ER316PS+BSHP - 3U 16 Bay 6G SATA RAID 5/50/6 PCIe 2.0 x8 Rackmount

The EliteSTOR ER316PS+BSHP is a 3U 16 bay 6G RAID storage rackmount for high capacity storage solutions. The ER316PS+BSHP innovative design allow single RAID controller card, connect via a single high speed mini-SAS cables to access 16 hard drives. With RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50 and 6 supported, high performance can be achieved with a lower cost of ownership compared to RAID embedded subsystems. RAID setup and maintenance can be controlled via built-in Web Browser interfaces, and the unit is supportive of e-mail notifications. Utilizing high bandwidth 2400MB/s mini-SAS (SFF-8088) cabling, the ER316PS+BSHP supports SATA hard drives to deliver superior read / write speeds that are crucial in performance-driven environments such as the video editing industry. The mini-SAS connection combines sixteen hard drive connections into a single cables, reducing possible points of failures while preserving uninterrupted data transfer. System status information such as the hard drive, and cooling fan status are provided by the LED. All necessary hardware comes standard including the controller card, mini-SAS cable, hard drive tray modules and built-in mounting rail.

Standard desktop or green desktop drive may not be supported and may compromise RAID system stability and performance. • Optional Redundant Power Supply - Optional hot-swappable, redundant power is useful for protection against power failures. Power supply status can be easily monitored by the status LED and audible alarm alert.
