EliteSTOR ES328X6R is a 3U 6G based SAS expander expansion enclosure that fit 28 drives in only 3U space. Hosting sixteen (16) in the front and twelve (12) at the back, this high density design allow increase your storage foot print, while saving your valuable rack space. Build with dual SAS expander configuration, server connecting to ES328X6R can expands using a standard or high availability configuration. Design with green computing in mind, ES328X6R features energy efficient redundant 1620W Platinum Level power supply and temperature control cooling fan. Supporting Areca, ATTO, Dell, Intel and LSI RAID controller card or non-RAID host bus adapter HBA, ES328X6R support hardware RAID using RAID controller card, or software, operating system based disk protection scheme using HBA. System status can be monitor using in-band SES from the RAID or HBA controller card. Build-in expansion ports for storage expansion, as well as supporting SAS and SATA (single path mode only), ES328X6R will be an ideal solution for any storage demanding requirements.
