EliteSTOR ES424X12 - 4U 24 Bay 12G SAS/SATA to SAS JBOD with 12G SAS Expander Rackmount
The EliteSTOR ES424X12P is the latest 4U SAS 12G JBOD rackmount with a newer modular design. Utilizing the latest 12G SAS expander technology, the ES424X12P provides up to 48Gb/s or 4800MB/s of data bandwidth to fulfill the most demanding application. Build-in support for both 2.5" and 3.5" form factors, the ES424X12P supports SATA or SAS 12Gb/s hard drives or SSD and is backward compatible with 6Gb/s SAS interface. By utilizing the latest SAS expander technology, the ES424X12P supports up to 24 SAS or SATA drives using only one HD mini-SAS (SFF-8644) cable. A built-in SAS expansion port enables the system to connect up to 256 HDD drives daisy-chained together. The ES424X12P is capable of delivering over in 3,000MB/s in read and write performance with a RAID controller, doubling the existing 6G SAS expander bandwidth. System status information is provided by the front LCD display, and information includes hard drives, power supply, and cooling fan status. All necessary hardware comes standard including mini-SAS HD cable, hard drives tray modules, and mounting rail. The ES424X12P is an ideal storage expansion solution for servers or high-performance video editing workstations.
