Sans Digital external mini-SAS to mini-SAS (SFF-8088 to SFF-8088) cable attaches to external storage device that equip with mini-SAS connector.
mini-SAS cables combine four 6Gb/s connection into one, totaling 24Gb/s bandwidth, or up to 2400MB/s. Faster than eSATA, USB 3.0, 10G Ethernet or Thunderbolt, mini-SAS product is ideal for any high speed data requirements. When connect with passive mini-SAS storage device, each of the four 6Gb/s line is operate individually, providing direct access to the connected hard drives or SSD. mini-SAS also work with SAS expander storage to provide 24Gb/s data transfer bandwidth in between hard drives and controllers.
