The MobileRAID MR2UT+B series is a fully loaded 2-bay external RAID solution designed for home and small business storage needs. With simplicity and flexibly in mind, this series is equipped with two hot-swappable 3.5” hard drive trays, as well as both USB 3.0 and eSATA host interfaces. The embedded Hardware RAID design provides offload of complex RAID calculation from the computer to the unit, allowing high perfromance throughput to eSATA and USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0). Dual interface setup provide easy connection to various computer operating systems, including PC, MAC and Linux. Since RAID engine is embedded inside the enclosure, there is no OS compatibility issue. With support of RAID 0 and RAID 1, MR2UT+B allows user to choose from fast performance on RAID 0 or hard drive redundancy protection on RAID 1. With hot-swappable hard drive design, and high performance transfer rate to support various audio and video editing problems, MR2UT+B is the ideal storage RAID tower for high-end computing.
