The EliteSTOR ES108X12G Series is a 1U 8-bay rackmountable solution with a dual 12G mini-SAS connection, providing high performance JBOD storage for 2.5" inch drives. Utilizing high bandwidth 12G mini-SAS (SFF-8644) cabling, the ES108X12G supports SSD, SAS, or SATA hard drives to deliver superior read / write speeds that are crucial in performance-driven environments such as video editing industry and server applications. Two 12G mini-SAS ports combine eight hard drive connections into two cables, and reduce the ammount of possible points of failures. The ES108X12G supports SSD, SATA, and SAS drives, allowing users to have the option to choose between high performance and high capacity all in a compact storage solution. Hard drive and RAID controller bundle options are available. When utilizing a SAS or SATA RAID controller, the unit could effortlessly support multi-streaming of compressed high-quality playback or a single-stream of uncompressed 10-bit high definition video under various RAID modes.
