The MobileRAID MR8S series is a 8-bay dual channel U320 SCSI RAID tower that utilizes the same engines as the AccuRAID enterprise level rackmount storage, providing RAID features, such as single firmware-embedded IP based management interface, online volume sizes and expansion and multiple RAID volume support in compact tower format. With dual channel support, MR8S capable of creating clustering infrastructure, including support for the latest Windows Server 2008 Enterprise SPC-3 Persistent Reservation, allowing automatic storage failover for two servers in event of server failure.

The MR8S equipped with RAID 6 support for double parity protection, which allow up to 2 hard drives failure without losing data and down time. The hardware embedded RAID engines allow each RAID volume present to an OS as single external storage; providing support to Windows, Mac or Linux without OS or driver issues. With easy setup via web browser and enterprise level feature included, the MR8S will be an effective solution for your storage need.

* Volumes over 2TB requires OS and hardware support. Over 2TB capacity requires GPT disk under Microsoft Windows operating systems, which includes Windows XP 64 bit, Vista (32bit or 64bit), Server 2003 (32bit or 64bit) and Server 2008 (32bit or 64bit). MAC and Linux support over 2TB of capacity. If over 2TB capacity is not supported, multiple volumes smaller than 2TB is recommended. Please contact Sans Digital technical support for more details.
